Near Kansas City, Missouri, a number of police officers responded to a house to check for a wanted felon. While there, the officers developed probable cause to believe the house was being used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Two officers went to secure a search warrant, and several other officers remained behind. The above mentioned felon exited the house, began shooting at the officers, and detonated something inside the house. The roof was literally blown off of the house. Fortunately, none of the offcers were injured.
