		<description>Maddog:  You are absolutely correct.  I hope my post did not convey that Tasers are a poor choice as an intermediate weapon.  My whole point is that a Taser is an inappropriate choice in a deadly force situation.

I carry OC, an X26, and an expandable baton on duty.  Each can be effective, but the Taser is my first choice when less than lethal force is needed.

		<description>Batons and O.C. aren&#039;t 100 % effective either but no one is taking that off of their belts. A Taser is another tool to have. Any tool that could help get me home at the end of the night is a tool worth having on my belt</description>
