I just got a Twitter (or is it a Tweet?) from Jim Orr over at GT Distributers. They have the best deal going on the Ruger LCP.
Right now they have 20 Ruger LCP pistols in stock and ready to ship for only $289.95 (plus tax/shipping). I’ve not seen a better price anywhere else.
A note about GT Distributers: they are not a sponsor, but they are a great company. I’ve done business with them in the past, and I have always been satisfied. One of the guys on my squad just picked up a Ruger LCR from them for his backup. Not only was it in stock, it was the best price anywhere ($370 or $557 with Crimson Trace Lasergrip.) Give them a shot if you need some duty gear or a firearm for work.

Thanks to everyone for leaving a message. However, I do not sell guns. If you are interested in doing business with GT Distributers, you should click the link in the article. That will take you to their site so you can purchase one.
Keep in mind that they are a police distributer, so you need to be employed in public safety to purchase through them.
If you are not employed in public safety, try Impact Firearms for the Ruger LCP. Just click this link and you will be taken to their site.
Thanks to all!

Found a Ruger LCP on Auction Arms site from a local FFL at $293. Took the info to our local Gander Mountain whose shelf price is $349. The department manager resisted on their price matching policy. Called Gander Mountain’s customer service standing in the department. Before the call was completed, the manager relented and honored their price matching guarantee.
The .380 ammunition is now becoming more readily available. Least expensive I’ve found is midwayusa.com. They typically are back ordered, but will notify you as shipments are received.
You may be pleasantly surprised with the performance. I have another .380 pistol which is substantially larger and heavier. However I found the LCP easy to control despite it’s lightweight and size. Out of the box, I was able to achieve 8″ patterns through 2 boxes of ammo.
Give it a try. You’ll like it.
auctionarms.com is good also
