Along with my bail out bag, I carry a small Viking Tactics chest rig that won't interfere with a duty belt. Included with it are: 4 AR mags, two pistol mags, a small first aid kit with a tourniquet, quick-clot, and a few other knick knacks, and two pairs of cuffs.

During winter months (in Canada, no cliche intended), I carry both a thin and wool balaclava, toque, flipable fingered mitts, leather mitts (for the real cold days). Some colleagues have also carried black mukluks with a stripe sown on them.

Also a large bottle of sanitizer...

I like the XL BOB from countycomm.com

Think about adding these to your bag:

Extra radio battery or cellphone charger
flashlight battteries
A traffic vest (see spartancops.com to see why)
an extra knife
an extra pistol (preferably with the same ammmo and magazines your duty weapon uses)
a multitool
