Frank,

Thanks for posting. Let us know if you experience any reliability problems with it. There are reports that the G19 with the Gen 4 springs are not 100% with standard pressure, lighter weight bullets. I don't think there will be an issue with the .40, but who knows.

got a new glock 23 gen4 and indeed it a winner, the new recoil spring makes it feel like you are shooting a 9mm which gets you back on target and it works, the smaller grip area and finish are great and if you want to add the back straps to make grip larger you can.
the glock 23 gen4 is great and just like any gun/pistol they all have a plus and minus but being a lefty and now can switch the mag release fron left to right is what made me buy one for i stayed away from glock in the past for that reason and kept using my sig p229.
glock does not have to change anything more to keep ahead they still have a good thing as noted by their contracts.

Gen 4 G22's are already in service in Wichita, Ks. I handled one and liked the new smaller grip area towerds the top. So much so, if we obtain any Gen 4 G23's that are suppose to be released in March, I will try to get one.
