Some Wonder Why Crime is Out Of Control…
ByI arrested an illegal immigrant who is a member of a gang with international ties. I arrested him for sexual battery, to wit he, an adult man, was having sex with a 14 year old child. I obtained a post-Miranda confession, both oral and written. Part of his statement included “I am going to marry her when she grows up…” Everything was solid in this case.
The state drops the case because “the victim doesn’t want to prosecute.” Oh…I get it. When a child has been sexually victimized by an adult, we let the child make the decision on prosecution.
The icing on the cake is that ICE doesn’t want to deport the predator because the state dropped the case. I guess the ‘illegal alien gang member’ thing isn’t worth their time.
So, because the state hired a lazy SOB who couldn’t get a job practicing law in the private sector, and the citizens of Florida have another gang-banging, illegal alien, sexual predator back on the streets. Bravo.

Job Security? Unfortunately State Attorney’s, Judges, elected officials, and most importantly the average citizens need to take a stand to change things like this. They will not do it however because it all comes down to money. Fiscal conservatism is a great thing except when your talking about Public Safety and Public health. Unfortunately these are the first things, with education, being cut so we can have our pretty parks and nice trees.

You know some day this creep is going to do it again. And it’s going to be another daddy’s little girl.
But one of these days, a daddy is going to say “You put this guy back on the streets and destroyed my family.” And is going to enact justice.
Frankly, I think we’re going to see the return of vigilante and community justice in the next decade or two. The incompetence of the Justice system is indescribable. And I think daddy’s of little girls are not going to let those prosecutors and judges off so easy.
Look at the Jaycee case. Kidnapped and raped at 11 yrs of age. By a man who had a record of kidnapping and raping. Sorry, if it was my daughter…God have mercy.
The family probably had the charges dropped due to intimidation. Who wants to personally file charges against a violent gang member. I’d wager 10-to-1 that someone dropped a message off for the family saying that if they didn’t drop the charges there would be hell to pay, and a funeral to pay.
*fumes*
America’s Injustice system is a tragedy. We’re more concerned about someone not filling out the correct paperwork when they bought their orchids than we are with dedicated criminal predators.
