In the ‘What a great way to get yourself shot’ category comes the Revolver iPhone case. Made to look like a revolver, the instructions for making this iPhone case were posted over at Thingiverse.
In a high-stress situation, vision is one of the first things impaired by the sympathetic nervous system discharge. Add in lack of time to analyze the object, low light, etc. and it is a recipe for disaster. Of course, when someone gets shot with this thing, everyone will wonder why the cops killed some ‘innocent’ person who was just trying to surf the ‘net.
I’m not about to suggest a government ban on such things, but common sense should dictate to leave such things at home.
