And don’t get NEAR ENOUGH credit. We always support our troops during the holidays and a lot of folks forget the LEO’s who serve here. We don’t. Thanks for all you do and enjoy your holiday when you can. And a special thanks to your families who have to miss their dad/mom because of the career choice they made.

Thanks Robert. Your post means a lot. Like a lot of cops, I spent my day chasing domestics rather than eating turkey and stuffing. It’s a great job, but I do miss the family on days like this.

I have to have a quick Thanksgiving dinner with my family, before leaving for work soon for a Midnight Shift. I’d love to stay home and relax for the evening, but this is just part of the job.
