Blackhawk! is now manufacturing tactical clothing designed for women. The lightweight tactical shirts and pants are cut for women, but look a lot like the existing apparel the company has been making in men’s sizes for several years.
I own several pairs of the tactical pants shown (men’s versions, of course), and they are the best cargo/tactical pants I have owned. They Blackhawk! pants are very comfortable and durable.
Additionally, the pockets are laid out in a very functional way. The zippered portion of the main cargo pockets are perfect for accessing gear while sitting in a car or on a plane. The heavy-duty elastic bands inside the cargo pockets do an excellent job on retaining and aligning spare pistol magazines and flashlights.
These pants also have pockets above the main cargo pockets that are aligned more toward the centerline of the body. I have found these to be excellent for bits of gear you want to keep separate from other gear (they are perfectly sized for an iPhone). Also, they are the width of an AR mag, which allows you retain a partial mag there should you “top off” during training or a fight.
