On today’s podcast, I interview Steve Rabinovich of the ECHO Group.  The ECHO Group is a not-for-profit group of police officers and other first responders who provide critical medical training for patrol and SWAT cops.  The idea is to provide you with the “down and dirty” basics of keeping yourself or partner alive in a situation where EMS may be unavailable for immediate response.

Update

Since posting the show, Steve pointed me to Rescue Essentials, as being another good source for medical supplies.  Rescue Essentials put together two kits with input from ECHO Group: the Police Academy Trauma Kit and the Police Academy Personal Trauma Kit.  Steve also said Chinook is an “awesome” company.  It sounds like you will get good service from both of these companies.
