Alpine Innovations is the brain child company of Darren Jones, who has been producing every-day solutions since 2002. What started with the need to fix a muddy fly line has turned into a company focused on providing outdoor enthusiasts with products to make their adventures easier and more efficient.
One of those products is the Spudz Pro optic cloth. To help clean lenses and optics, Jones combines a premium microfiber cloth with a neoprene pouch with help from his seamstress wife, Shellie. Alpine Innovations did not create the micro-fiber cloth, but they did invent the lens cleaning micro-fiber cloth that is integrally sewn into a carry pouch. The pouch can be attached to a key ring, belt loop, or Molle with a clip, or can simply be tucked into a pocket for easy carry.
This simple advancement has made carrying a micro fiber cloth not only easy, but much more practical. In addition to the ease of carry, the pouch helps protect the microfiber cloth from debris, and damage that could affect the ability of the cloth to clean a lens. The last thing you want to do is put your microfiber cloth up to your $500 optic, only to have debris scratch the lenses and make the optic almost useless.

Final Thoughts
At SHOT Show 2015 I was given Spudz Pro to test out by the Alpine Innovations representative. The large 10″ x 10″ cloth has been great to clean off my computer screen, and provides more grip when cleaning rifle optics. The microfiber cloth is outstanding; cleaning the lenses or screens very quickly and without any damage to the sensitive glass. I would highly recommend Alpine Innovations Spudz products to any of our readers.
